Western Wake’s leading lifestyle publication invited brides- and grooms-to-be, as well as their mothers, friends and wedding planners, to the fifth annual Elegant Weddings Gala at The Matthews House in Cary on March 10.

After four years of overwhelming success and high marks from attendees and vendors, Cary Magazine teamed up with the Matthews House and presenting sponsor Traditions by anna to stage an intimate gala that connected brides with the best local professionals, venues and services in the wedding industry.

Guest enjoyed cocktails and samplings of The Matthews House Catering creations along with a full assortment of wedding cake and pastry options. The entire Matthews House, ballroom and outdoor tent featured vendors — from bakeries and photographers to musicians and travel agencies — throughout the property. The themed displays by the area’s top wedding vendors gave brides the opportunity to do all their planning at one upscale event. Traditions by anna, a local bridal boutique, featured live models wearing the latest in fashionable bridal wear.
