Dine & Recline

UPDATE: CineBowl has announced that it will now open on Friday morning, July 10.

Frank Theatres’ CineBowl & Grille, an entertainment complex offering movies, bowling, games, sports viewing, and a bar and grille, opens tonight at 7 in Cary’s Parkside Town Commons!

The area’s first “Dine & Recline” cinema, CineBowl & Grille offers moviegoers the opportunity to order from a menu of more than 25 freshly-prepared items like handcrafted pizzas and flatbreads, Andouille sausage and Cajun pork kabobs, berry cheesecake bites and portabella fries, plus wine, beer, cocktails and desserts, all from the comfort of oversized, electric leather recliners.

“The Triangle is a growing region full of families, young professionals, companies and sports fans alike,” said Bruce Frank, president and CEO of Frank Entertainment Group LLC. “We originally secured this location seven years ago and have watched the region grow ever since, which has built our excitement to open and serve its well-educated, sophisticated family community.

“With more than 60,000 square feet of pure entertainment, CineBowl & Grille has something for each of these audiences. We invite everyone in the Triangle to join us for an evening out or company event.”

Here’s what you can expect:

Movies: An FDX-Xtreme Screen over 85 feet long and five stories tall, plus 11 wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling floating screens with Sony Digital Cinema 4k projection and Dolby Atmos 12.1 sound. Five of the auditoriums are also equipped with RealD 3D capabilities. And you can reserve seating weeks in advance of blockbuster releases.

Bowling: 16 VIP bowling lanes with lounge-style seating, electronic automated scoring systems and automated bumpers for children or beginners.

Games: 40 arcade and video games, including air hockey and basketball.

The Grille & Bar: The menu features Philly cheesesteak egg rolls, pan seared panko crusted fresh mozzarella and half-pound certified Angus beef burgers, including the award-winning “kitchen sink burger.” House specialties also include baja mahi tacos, boom boom shrimp, crispy chicken skin sliders and bacon-wrapped Oreos.

The bar serves signature cocktails, martinis and draft beers, and offers live entertainment each week.

Sports: With more than 50 screens and a Sports Stadium, complete with dining seating, you can surround yourself with the game or event of your choice.

“We see our new location as a way to contribute to the already thriving business community in Cary,” Frank said. “Our presence will create more than 200 local jobs and will give Cary access to the first entertainment complex of this magnitude in the region.

“We believe that having a one stop, state-of-the-art total entertainment facility will bring lots of families and new friends to enjoy CineBowl & Grille.”
