YOU DECIDE! as we kick off the nominations process for the 2014 Maggy Awards, honoring the Best of Western Wake in the categories of Restaurants, Services, Lifestyle, Shopping, and Media.

As a special annual feature of Cary Magazine, the winners of the Maggy Awards are selected by you, our readers, as the people and places that make the Western Wake lifestyle so great. 

Nominations open today, and will be accepted through Thursday, Oct. 3 at 5 p.m. 

Best barbecue, or bargains?

Best save-the-day spa?

Best preschool?

It’s your say, and your chance to express your loyalty and appreciation for our fabulous local businesses.

Once the nominations process is closed, we’ll tabulate the people, businesses and places that received the most nominations. Those will then be listed on the Maggy Awards ballot, for you to vote on in mid-October.

The overall winners will be featured in grand fashion in the January issue of Cary Magazine.
