Do you have a sweet tooth?  Or do you prefer something on the savory side?  Join the Garner Educational Foundation in their annual Cooks for Books Event: The Sweet and Savory Edition and you can have both!

Our sweet treats will be provided by local schools and community members. Of course we will continue to highlight Garner’s wonderful restaurants.  They will bring their best savory dishes to compete for our professional division trophy.  Competing restaurants include MoonRunner’s Saloon, Alaksha’s Custom Catering, Alexander’s, Locked and Loaded, Krafty’s, City Barbeque, Aversboro Restaurant, and Angie’s.

The event will be a hors d’oeuvres /cocktail party from 5:30 – 8:00 pm. Attendees will have the chance to sample the delicious sweet and savory dishes and vote for their favorites!
