“SHARE TO CARE” PROMISES THE ROMANCE OF HOLLYWOOD

Transitions GuidingLights presents the seventh annual Share to Care fundraiser on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Governor W. Kerr Scott Building, 1025 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh, NC 27607 from 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

In addition to an auction and dancing, guests will be treated to the chef’s challenge, where executive chefs from six local retirement communities and hospital systems (Atria Senior Living, Carolina Meadows, Harnett Health, HeartFields at Cary, Waltonwood Cary Parkway, and Whispering Pines) compete under the theme, “Romantic Hollywood.” Chefs are challenged to create sweet and savory dishes connected to their chosen love-themed movie or musical. Nationally-renowned chef Sara Foster will present the winner with a coveted silver spoon.

Each day we are reminded of the enormous and challenging needs of local caregivers, and the proceeds from Share to Care provide resources we need to provide education, support, and resources for those caregivers in this area,” notes Nicole Bruno, co-founder and executive director of Transitions GuidingLights. “For the seventh year in a row, we’re pleased to offer the chef’s challenge, which has become quite the friendly competition among some of our local chefs. Guests will not leave this event hungry or uninspired!”
