Easter Egg Hunts in Cary

On April 8 the Town of Cary’s Bond Park will be hopping with Easter events for children of all abilities, including egg hunts, entertainment and magic. Start the day by enjoying Breakfast with the Bunny at 8:30 a.m. at the Cary Senior Center, 120 Maury O’dell Place. Tickets are required to attend and can be purchased at the Herb Young Community Center, 101 Wilkinson Ave.; they will not be available at the door. Tickets are $4 for ages 10 and older and $3 for ages 3-9. Ages 2 and younger are free with a required pass.
Following the breakfast, ages 10 and younger can bring a basket and head to the free annual Easter Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. Enjoy entertainment at the boathouse until 1:30 p.m. featuring the Easter Bunny, face painting and food trucks. Flow Circus will host magic shows at 11 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. at Sertoma Amphitheatre. Members of the Cary Police and Fire departments will also be onsite offering education. Following the entertainment, children 12 and younger with intellectual and/or physical disabilities are invited to a free Easter Eggstravaganza at 1:30 p.m. at Bond Park’s Spillway.
Located at 801 High House Road, participants are encouraged to arrive early for the hunts; registration is not required. In the event of rain, the Easter Egg Hunt will be on April 9 at 1 p.m. and the Eggstravaganza will take place at 3:30 p.m.
