Another Lazy Daze has come and gone — did our cameras catch you?
Cary Magazine staffers, including photographer Jonathan Fredin, were on hand last Saturday for the 38th annual Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival. We weren’t alone.
Boasting about 400 artists offering their unique wares, this year’s fest brought quite a few new features, and welcomed tens of thousands of attendees out for a day of fun in the sun.
One highlight was the chainsaw carving competition, sponsored by Cary Magazine. Winner for the second consecutive year was Jerry Reid of JR Chainsaw Carvings of Zebulon.
Cary’s signature event, Lazy Daze has earned the title of highest ranked one-day festival in the nation for Classic & Contemporary Craft Shows by Sunshine Artist Magazine.
Festival proceeds support arts activities in Cary.
