In conjunction with Wheels on Academy 6th Annual Car Show this year we are offering Touch-a-Truck.  This is a fun, interactive, family-friendly event that allows children and adults to see, touch, and safely explore their favorite trucks and heavy machinery, as well as meet the personnel who protect, serve, and build the Cary Community. Join us for a glimpse into the inner workings of awe-inspiring vehicles and machinery and the vital tasks they perform.

This year will feature a “No Horn Hour” from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. for guests with sensitive hearing. Little ones with sensitivities to loud noises are encouraged to visit during this time to experience everything in a comfortable environment.

Note: the band will still be playing on the main stage during this time and sound will travel into the event.

The Touch-a-Truck area will also be enlivened with games, crafts, and live entertainment. Build a LEGO® vehicle with members of Play-Well TEKnologies or color and race a small wooden car with members of the Cary Teen Council. There will be fun and games for the whole family.
