This summer, Waverly Place invites guests to celebrate the return of the popular outdoor music series Wind Down Wednesday presented by Johnson Subaru of Cary.

Every Wednesday in June and July from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., the center’s one-acre park turns into a fun-filled music venue, perfect for guests of all ages. Music fans will enjoy spreading their blankets and chairs on the expansive lawn to watch the sun set to the sounds of local favorites including Jim Quick & Coastline, North Tower, Band of Oz, Peak City Sound, Swivel Hip, Too Much Sylvia, Spare Change and The Band Punch. A special “Farewell-to-Summer” concert with The Embers will be held on Wednesday, August 30.

The event is free and open to the public, so make a night of it! Take advantage of special offers at participating restaurants and shops. A variety of food, beer and wine will be available for purchase at booths on the Park Level. The playground will be open to children during concert hours. Lawn chairs, blankets and well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome on the grounds. Coolers, glass containers and outside alcohol are prohibited. The event schedule is subject to change.
