The Inaugural Raleigh 2017 ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk is taking place this weekend. The event features a 5K run/walk as well as several activities for the entire family. Participants will receive T-shirts and food, and connect with others whose lives or loved ones have been touched by prostate cancer.

In addition to the 5K run/walk, the event will feature:
– One mile run/walk
– Kids’ Superhero Dash for Dad: Kids nine and under are encouraged to dress as their favorite superhero and participate in a short dash.
– Snooze for Dudes program: Participants can join the event virtually by signing up for Snooze for Dudes and receive a cotton shirt in the mail.

A portion of the funds raised from the 2017 ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk – Raleigh will benefit the Rex Healthcare Foundation Angel Fund. The Angel Fund provides financial assistance to patients actively undergoing cancer treatment at one of UNC REX Cancer Care’s locations.
