Take Dad to the fourth annual Apex Peak City Pig Fest, this Friday and Saturday, June 19-20, in downtown Apex!
The only Kansas City Barbecue Society-sanctioned event in the Triangle, and a North Carolina State Championship event, Pig Fest welcomes 48 barbecue teams from across the country competing for $10,000 in prize money as they dish up chicken, ribs, beef brisket and pork.

Tennis, Anyone?

Get Dad in the door to a first: Triangle Table Tennis in Morrisville is hosting the 2015 State Games of N.C. Table Tennis Competition for the first time ever, featuring USATT-sanctioned events in both rec and tourney divisions, for individuals and doubles.
The venue is world-class, with more than 32 competition tables for lively action among players from across the state, competing for titles in various categories.
Events run both days from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and admission prices range from $25 to $25.

Daddy Day at the Park

Take Him Out to the Ballgame

Visit the area’s brand-new stadium, and cheer on the Holly Springs Salamanders as they take the field against the Martinsville Mustangs!

TORCFest
June 21, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
If your dad’s the active type, trek to Lake Crabtree County Park for TORCFest on Sunday, as the Triangle Off-Road Cyclists invite cycling enthusiasts and those who appreciate multiuse trails to celebrate mountain biking.
Enjoy burgers and hot dogs, take part in skills clinics or the Crabtree Time Trial Race (register online), or enjoy the youth group ride at 2 p.m.
