Natural Dyeing, Bundle Dye Workshop in Raleigh with Katina Gad

If you are curious about natural dyes, bundle dyeing is an easy and fun introduction for beginners. Join me for this enjoyable introduction to the ancient art of dyeing using garden flowers, foraged plants, and everyday kitchen scraps. This workshop will walk students through the process of mordanting, selecting and collecting plants to create beautiful colors, and the process of bundle dyeing to create unique prints and patterns onto fabric. At the end of the workshop you will take home with your own silk scarf, dyed by you!

This class will be held on Saturday October 14 from 3pm – 6pm

All materials are included. You will be messaged a confirmation and additional information within 3 to 5 days of your purchase.

Beverages, and vegan snacks will be provided.

Class size is limited to 15 to allow for individual instruction, I will have an assistant or two on hand to keep the class moving and leave no one behind.

This class will take place at Shelter 1 at Lake Johnson Nature Park in Raleigh, NC
*in case of rain this event will be moved indoors to a nearby location.
