When Hurricane Ike hit Galveston in 2008, Ward Theatre Company Director Wendy Ward turned to her intern and said, “Let’s build a show that will benefit the people of Galveston,” and a few weeks later “Almost Home” was born. Since that time, “Almost Home” has raised more than $4,000 for the American Red Cross.

With the recent advent of Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma, the Company decided to revive its benefit production. Please come and support live theater and support a worthwhile cause!
