You may know her as half of the regionally-famous La Farm Bakery team. Here’s your chance to know her as much, much more.

Meet Missy Vatinet and hear her takes on life, business and success at the upcoming Women of Western Wake Luncheon, on Friday, Oct. 27 at The Umstead Hotel & Spa.

“I work in service to the team, so that we can continue to build the team that enables us to get where we want to be,” Vatinet said, while crediting customers and a list of farmers, millers and bakers for her success.

“Finding that balance between owning (the business) or it owning you is a daily challenge,” she said. “Sometimes you do it well; sometimes you do it really, really not well. And then you get back up, and you try again.”

Vatinet’s advice is true to life, from setting personal boundaries to raising children to working the expansion of the longstanding family business and its more than 80 associates. Her leadership roles have encompassed sales, operations manager, marketing, human resources and finance.
