The Parekh Family Foundation, a subsidiary of the Foundation for Medical Education and Research (EIN 20-4797889) was established in 2006, embodying the ideals and values of the parents of Selene and Zankhna Parekh. The Foundation was started in honor of Gunvant and Bharati Parekh. From Mumbai and Ahmedabad respectively, they immigrated to the United States in 1969. They were great believers in education, hard work, and discipline.

The Parekh Family Foundation is a non-profit 501c3, private operating foundation, which functions to improve the quality of life for individuals globally. The core activities of the Foundation include supporting education, research, and missionary medical aid to those who need health care within the United States and abroad.

Our annual Fundraiser is a way for people to give back and support our efforts.  This year, the event will be held on April 27, 2018.
