Pee Wee Hayes returns to the Bullpen to shred some of the deepest electric blues you’ve ever heard. Although he lives 50 miles north of Chicago, Hayes is an artist one might easily mistake for coming straight out of the Windy City. His burnished, deeply soulful voice and hard-edged, stinging guitar are reminiscent of B.B. and Albert King and sound as if they could be emanating from the door of some South Side tavern circa 1965.
