Come celebrate summer this month at The Well Fed Community Garden’s 2nd Annual Blackberry Festival – hosted by Irregardless Cafe & Catering.
“Enter the Garden” and experience this family friendly fun all about blackberries and growing food locally! There will be lots of activities for the whole family, yummy food from the garden, live music and more. The Garden’s Pizza oven will be baking all evening, with garden salad and Blackberry Cobbler too.
4 – 6 pm Hands-on activities on planting and cultivating vegetables and fruits, healthy soil maintenance, beekeeping, pollinator gardens, cooking demonstrations, soil health, nutrition and more.
5 – 8 pm Pizza, Live Music and fundraiser

The Well Fed Community Garden is a unique example of urban agriculture at 1321 Athens Drive, across from the high school.
In its sixth year of operation, it is managed by the Irregardless Cafe & Catering.
In addition to this annual Blackberry Festival, the Garden hosts monthly workshops, volunteer gardening opportunities, Farm Dinners and Garden Cooking Classes as well as Yoga and Art in the Garden.
