This June we launch our first annual film festival, celebrating the art of storytelling through cinema. Featuring screenplay and short film competitions that are far beyond ordinary, this four-day festival takes place right here in downtown Cary.

We’re attracting filmmakers from North Carolina to British Columbia and beyond who’ve submitted their screenplays and short films (>30 minutes) embodying some unusual incarnations of this year’s “Hometown Stories” theme. Join us for a fun and enjoyable cinematic experience open to the community.

Enjoy the most uniquely interesting short films from filmmakers far and wide. This year’s selection includes invited feature-length films and short film and screenplay submissions. The festival offers a stimulating sneak-peek into the minds of filmmakers with a focus on outstanding screenplay writers.

BEYOND will kick-off with a family friendly, free outdoor screening of “Back to the Future” at Cary’s Downtown Park on Wednesday, June 13. Join us for social events and other fun activities all week long. Festival tickets:
