Preston Sharp, a 12-year-old who was recently recognized by President Trump at the State of the Union, will honor U.S. veterans by placing flags and flowers on their graves in Raleigh National Cemetery. Preston has been putting flags on veterans’ graves since he was 10 years old. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing. All ages are welcome. Preston believes that it is important to honor Veterans all year and he needs help in placing the flags and flowers on the veterans’ graves. Please join us for this special event.

The event will take place on Wednesday, June 20, at noon at Raleigh National Cemetery located at 501 Rock Quarry Road, in Raleigh.
