Fit & Able is proud to bring back the Cary Greenways Half-marathon for its third year! And we’re looking forward to seeing you there again.

Choose your challenge from the half-marathon, 10K, or 5K courses as you race the trails you love and get timed! In case you didn’t know 2019 is the Town of Cary’s 40th Anniversary of the Greenway system and the Half-marathon is one of the town’s official celebrations of fitness.

Like our Turkey Chase there is a common start and finish point. There is an open start between 8 AM and 9:30 AM so if you don’t want to get up early for your run you don’t have to! But that doesn’t mean you can dilly-dally because the course closes at 11:30 AM. So keep moving!

Race Location: Fred G. Bond Metro Park. – Kiwanis Shelter

Course Information: The course is on the Town of Cary’s paved and natural greenways: conditions depend on the weather prior to the event. The start and finish are at the Kiwanis Shelter.  Restrooms are located at the Kiwanis Shelter, the Boat House, SK8/Godbold Park, and the pavilion at North Cary Park (half marathon turn around point).

This race is capped so sign up soon! The first 350 participants get a big glass mug AND medal! It’s not even 2019 yet but the race is already filling up!
