Join the statewide kick off to Black History Month by celebrating our state’s diverse heritage and culture! Have fun while learning about the state’s diverse African American heritage and culture during this free event for all ages. The 18th annual African American Cultural Celebration will feature more than 75 musicians, storytellers, dancers, chefs, historians, playwrights, authors, artists, reenactors and more.

The 18th Annual African American Cultural Celebration is held in partnership with the NC African American Heritage Commission and the North Carolina Museum of History Associates.
