There is romance in the air as UNCG’s School of Theatre presents Shakespeare In Love, adapted by Lee Hall and directed by John Gulley. Young Will Shakespeare is suffering from writer’s block, but he meets a beautiful young lady named Viola who has a burning desire to star in his next play. Shakespeare falls deeply in love with Viola, which inspires him to write his greatest work. The production opens at the UNCG Taylor Theatre at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 15, with performances at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb.16, and a 2:00 p.m. performance on Sunday, Feb. 17.
