Western Wake Woman’s Club is excited to host its annual Cheers for A Cause Fundraiser & Silent Auction on May 3 to benefit Abby’s Army for a second year. Abby’s Army is a foundation dedicated to supporting children and families affected by and fighting pediatric cancer and other serious illnesses.

Abby’s Army Foundation’s mission is assist kids and families going through this same devastating diagnosis and the journey it entails. Through donations of toys, gaming systems, electronics, gift cards, and requests from the Child Life Specialists at the hospital, Abby’s Army hopes to brighten the days for these cancer fighters so they can shift their thoughts from treatments and medications to imagination and fun.
