The two inches of snow that fell in the Triangle on Thursday, Feb. 20, stuck around long enough to close schools on Friday and blanket Fred G. Bond Metro Park in Cary. A few early sledders were able to manage some smooth rides, but as the warm sun melted the snow, it became more “Wipe Out” than “White Out.”
