Summer may not officially begin until June 20, the longest day of the year, but with the long Memorial Day weekend behind us, it sure feels like summer. - Shop local in the heart of downtown Apex at the Apex Night Market. The markets will feature 25 vendors including food trucks, craft vendors, local artists and more! 2. Enjoy two weekends of North Carolina Museum of Art’s Art in Bloom with more than 30 stunning floral arrangements paired with popular works of art. 3. Feed your inner foodie during Dine Out Downtown in downtown Raleigh. Dine outdoors on closed streets and jam out to a rotating lineup of local musicians. 5. Live music is back at Park West Village’s Acoustic Nights series this summer. Enjoy local singers and songwriters while you dine at your favorite restaurants or shop local in The District. 7. Explore over 80 miles of trails around town during the Cary Greenways Challenge. Sign up, challenge your friends and family, and enjoy the outdoors all summer long. 8. Shop dozens of your favorite local artists and makers all over town at Triangle Pop-Up events. Markets are family and pet-friendly, so bring your kiddos and make a day of it!
