Lutheran Services Carolinas is embarking on a historic $4.2 million capital campaign called the ‘Be The Light’ campaign based in North Carolina. Lutheran Services Carolinas’ commitment to being a part of the solution to the challenges that prevent some of our North Carolina neighbors from living full and abundant lives. The campaign’s goals are threefold: guiding children and families with varying life challenges, expanding services for adults with varying life challenges, and the children’s endowment fund.

To aid in this undertaking, Christ the King is hosting on Friday, July 23, from 7-9 pm in the lower parking lot a fundraiser entitled “Dancing under the Stars,” to benefit Lutheran Services Carolinas “Be the Light” capital campaign. This event will feature the rock band Wildflower and the Weeds.

The concert is free. Bring a credit card or cash to purchase a bottomless special edition wine glass, a limitless souvenir beer koozie, or overflowing plate of food. An assortment of food and beverages will be available.

This event will be held rain or shine in the church’s Lower Parking Lot of Christ the King Lutheran Church; 600 Walnut Street Cary.
