Dorothy has a dead-end job and a blue collar family. One day she is suddenly struck by inspiration to build wonderfully weird assemblages from glass and metal. But she must keep her new passions hidden. With bills to pay and family obligations to tend, can Dorothy afford to call herself an artist?
