The American Kennel Club® (AKC®) is excited to host its flagship Responsible Dog Ownership Day event this year after being cancelled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This free event comes to the North Carolina State Fairgrounds (Holshouser Building) on September 17th, 2022 from 10am – 2pm.

With TONS of fun activities, including action-packed dog demonstrations like conformation, disc dog, trick dog, and herding! Enjoy family-friendly activities including dog games (with a chance to win prizes!) and pick up a treat or toy for your dog at one of many vendors. Take your dog through the ten-step AKC Canine Good Citizen® (CGC) test to earn a special certificate that shows your dog is a well-mannered community member, visit the microchip clinic brought to you by AKC Reunite, or take an AKC Trick Dog test!

The first 500 attendees will receive welcome bags.
