Women’s Health Education and Career Exploration Event on September 17 at NCCU

FreeMake plans to attend a free Women’s Health Education and Career Exploration event on Saturday, September 17, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the North Carolina Central University (NCCU) Student Center, 500 Nelson St. in Durham.
This free event includes resume reviews and workshops, health education sessions, dress for success fashion show, COVID-19 vaccines, and much more. This event provides a unique opportunity for participants to gain insight into career readiness, sexual and reproductive health, breast and cervical health, and learn more about clinical research.
There will be free onsite registration the day of the event, but women can still preregister today at www.niehs.nih.gov/womenshealthawareness.
The Office of Human Research and Community Engagement, at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS)/National Institutes of Health (NIH), is the lead sponsor of this event. Co-sponsors include Durham Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Durham Alumnae Delta House, Inc. and the Department of Public Health at North Carolina Central University.
