Cary Town Band’s 34th Annual Patriotic Celebration

In the hottest days of summer, we pause to remember the dedicated men and women who founded the United States of America. The program includes Sousa’s “The Gallant Seventh,” the famous patriotic chorale, “Chester, Selections from 1776,” and a new work commissioned especially for this concert. Independence Day at Koka Booth Amphitheatre is a Triangle tradition! Join us for a salute to the red, white, and blue as we honor our nation’s birthday with the music of the North Carolina Symphony and Cary Town Band. Enjoy patriotic favorites, high-spirited classics, fun activities for kids, and a dazzling firework display over Symphony Lake.
General Admission lawn is free and does not require a ticket. A limited number of Reserved Table Seats are available. Venue and event information is available on the Koka Booth Amphitheatre website.

The Town of Morrisville is celebrating Independence Day on Monday, July 3, with a Family Fun Festival on Town Hall Drive. The festival will include live entertainment, food trucks, roving entertainment, face painters, family-friendly games, prize giveaways, and more. A fireworks show will conclude the evening, visibly only from Town Hall Drive. The festival is free, but please bring money for the food trucks and games.

Enjoy a second day for the USA! The Holly Springs Independence Day Celebration on July 5 is full of fun with live music, food trucks, games, and spectacular fireworks. Fireworks are scheduled to begin at 9:15 p.m. Admission is free and open to all.

South Park
July 1, 6 p.m.
Head to Fuquay-Varina for fireworks, music, and fun on July 1 at South Park. Gates open at 6 p.m., and fireworks will begin at sundown (generally around 9:15 p.m.). This time is dependent on the weather. A concert featuring Spare Change begins at 6:30 p.m. Food trucks will be on-site, and the Splash Pad will be open from 6-8:30 p.m. Make sure to bring a blanket or chair and get there early to claim the best location to view the fireworks.
