Join us for the sixth annual Cooking for the Kids. This cooking competition brings together eight of the Triangle’s premier chefs. All proceeds from Cooking for the Kids benefit Overflowing Hands and A Place at the Table. Overflowing Hands is a volunteer-led organization serving the most vulnerable children in our neighborhoods, fighting food insecurity and providing clothing, camps, and leadership development to children. A Place at the Table is Raleigh’s first pay-what-you-can cafe and they are reinventing how we feed our community.

Each extraordinary evening of Cooking for the Kids brings together two talented chefs, six delectable courses, and food lovers. A cash bar featuring beer, wine, and cocktails will be available for guests to enjoy. Competing chefs are required to prepare an appetizer, main course, and a dessert each evening using secret ingredients. Guests and culinary judges will vote to decide which chef advances into the next round.

A silent auction will be held throughout the series of competitions. Anyone may place bids on the auction items and the highest bidder will be determined at the finale.
