Here’s your chance to do something that will last a lifetime — plant a tree!
In honor of Arbor Day, free trees will be available at the White Deer Park Nature Center on Friday, March 15, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Park supervisor Stephanie Schaffer encourages you to come pick up a tree and planting instructions — one tree per family, please — then head home to create a special place in your very own yard.
Trees will be available all day, while supplies last.
