Two years ago, Wood Robinson, known to many as the bass player for Mipso, released an album of original music that he recorded over two years at Nightsound Studios in Carrboro. Robinson says of these songs, “They are rooted in the hundreds of scenes and stories I have taken in traveling through this vast, seemingly endless landscape of a country. I hope in listening to them you will find those same feelings that I have felt being immersed in the peoples and places that we call America – feelings of seeming insignificance tempered by that of the wonderful importance of people.
