Our annual American Celebration concert this year features film music. Much music for the cinema has become even more popular than the films for which it was originally composed. These pieces stand alone as terrific music that can still evoke all the excitement and emotions they were originally meant to underscore. You will hear music by composers such as Maurice Jarre, Bill Conti, and John Williams, as well as tunes from some of your favorite Disney movies, and more. Vocal soloists Nate Alston and Jenn Myers will sing selections from Moana, The Greatest Showman, and Despicable Me 2. Come early and enjoy a picnic dinner on the lawn before the music begins! Park gates open at 5:30pm. Food and beverages are for sale onsite, or you may bring your own.
