14^th Annual Anna’s Angels Gala to be held March 25 in Cary

Down syndrome non-profit organization Anna’s Angels will host their popular annual Gala at Prestonwood Country Club on Saturday, March 25. This event is open to the public, and tickets are still available.

Duke Blue Devils Head Football Coach, David Cutcliffe, will be the keynote speaker this year. Coach Cutcliffe was the 2013 National Coach of the Year and has earned both ACC and SEC Coach of the Year honors. His distinguished career also includes the mentoring of Super Bowl MVP quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning.

The evening will also feature Megan Bomgaars from A&E’s hit TV show Born this Way. Megan gained widespread notice after her video, Don’t Limit Me, was released online; she now speaks at events around the country, spreading her message of inclusion and inspiration.

ABC 11 Eyewitness News anchor Steve Daniels will emcee the evening’s activities, which include dinner, silent and live auctions, dancing, and more. Join Anna’s Angels to celebrate individuals with Down syndrome, and to learn more about the advances in research taking place at Duke Children’s.
