Enjoy music, food, local beer and after-hours boat rentals one Friday a month from April through October for the return of Bands, Bites and Boats at the Bond Park Boathouse. The first Bands, Bites and Boats is Friday, April 6 from 5-8 p.m. and features music from the Garrett Newton Band. Oak City Fish and Chips will be on hand with food and new in 2018, each month will now feature a different local brewery to accompany the great music and food, including Brueprint Brewing in April and September and Bond Brothers in June and August. The event is free to attend. Along with the food and drink, boat rentals will be available for purchase starting at $8/hour.
