The historic seaside village of Beaufort will be opening doors and hosting events for the 58th Annual Old Homes Tour & More starting June 20th – 24th. Celebrating its 58th anniversary, the Old Homes tour has now evolved into a much larger event. Over the years, the Old Homes Tour has been the largest fundraiser for the Beaufort Historical Association. Visitors can enjoy exploring the old remolded homes with all their quirks and visit the new homes with their amazing innovative design features. The tour captures the different types of houses that visitors can find in quaint Beaufort. This year’s tour not only features a house built around 1730 but also a house that was just finished being built last year. The tour will also be showcasing a house celebrating 100 years!
Newly offered events with the Old Homes Tour will give guest a week packed full of accompanying activities that can appeal to book lovers, history fanatics, gardeners and designers alike! Accompanying events include a Kick Off Party for the tour, a Literary Luncheon featuring authors Mary Alice Monroe and Kristy Woodson Harvey, a closing Sunday Jazz Brunch with interior designer Marshall Watson and many more exciting event opportunities!
