Bike Safety Rodeo
Apr 8, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Fire/Rescue Department Hosting Bike Safety Rodeo
The Morrisville Fire/Rescue Department will be hosting a bike safety rodeo for kids (toddlers to age 18). The event is free and all participants will receive a Morrisville Fire/Rescue Bike Helmet.
Did you know that more children ages 5 to 14 are seen in emergency rooms for injuries related to biking than any other sport?
The rodeo will be held on Saturday, April 8. Sessions are at 10, 10:30, 11 and 11:30 a.m. Each session is limited to 20 participants. Participants will learn bicycle safety techniques and will get to ride their bikes through a short obstacle course.
The rodeo will be held at Morrisville Fire/Rescue Station #1 (200 Town Hall Drive). Parent or guardian must be present with child at event. To sign up, visit www.townofmorrisville.org/bikerodeo. Event signups are on a first come, first serve basis. For more information, contact Interim Fire Marshal Mike Chorney at 919-463-6122 or mchorney@townofmorrisville.org
