On October 2, the popular Farm to Fork celebration and fundraiser returns to Good Hope Farm for a night of dining, dancing, and fresh local food under the stars. The event ticket includes a farm-fresh gourmet meal, locally-brewed beer and cider, entertainment from a surprise musical guest, and a signature gift. All proceeds from this event will support the work of Good Hope Farm in creating food security and agricultural education in the region. The delicious menu is both gluten-free and vegetarian friendly.

About Good Hope Farm
Established in 1910 by C.F. and Mallie Maynard, the property that is now Good Hope Farm passed through several members of the Jones family before being purchased by Allie Martin and Annie Howard in 1933, who used it to grow substantial crops of Bright Leaf tobacco into the late-20th century.

In 2008, the Town purchased the historic family farmstead with the goal of keeping the property in agricultural production. A coalition of four nonprofit organizations pooled their resources in the name of a comprehensive shared vision, resulting in the incubator farm project that exists to this day, with a farmhouse, multiple tobacco barns, tool sheds, and a ham house, all situated on twenty acres of farmland. With ongoing preservation and restoration efforts, Good Hope Farm lives on as a working, historic teaching farm that looks and feels very much like stepping back in time, connecting today’s Cary community with our storied agricultural past.
