We will be hiking a mild to moderate difficulty, dirt/mulch trail that makes a 1.64 mile loop around the west end of Lake Johnson. Part of the area we will be hiking through is designated as environmentally sensitive due to some uncommon plant species that have historically been found there. Along this trail there is the possibility of seeing many types of wildlife such as blue herons, wood ducks, deer, and if we are really lucky, beavers and/or otters. This hike will also offer views of the lake and some wetland habitat.
