If you ever wondered about Buddhism, meditation or the benefits of a meditation practice, visit the Raleigh Won Buddhism Meditation Center’s Holiday Bazaar and Open House Saturday, Nov. 10th, from 10AM to 4PM.
Bring your children, family, and friends! We have many interesting events and crafts just perfect for the holidays. Here’s a sampling of what you’ll find:
Ginger tea, pine needle tea, special artwork (traditional ink paintings on Korean rice paper), meditation clothing, child-friendly crafts, various prayer beads and bracelets, incense, meditation singing bells, handmade cards, and more!
We will welcome the morning with a community meditation from 10 -10:45 AM, followed by alternating sessions of meditation, qi-gong, yoga, chanting, reiki, introductory classes to Won Buddhism, and tea ceremony throughout the day.
Come anytime and taste tea, yummy baked goods and enjoy peace, laughter, and live music. Please feel free to bring your own instrument and share your musical spirit. We look forward to seeing you, your family, and friends!
