Raleigh, September 7th, 2022 – Perfectly Imperfect Pups, a non-profit dog rescue based in Raleigh, NC is hosting a first ever Love is Art Fall Fundraiser. The rescue is seeking sponsorship from businesses, as well as art donations from artists near and far.

“Our goal is to raise funds so we can continue helping the most at-risk dogs in North Carolina and beyond. We have seen a significant increase in special needs dogs which means costs for the rescue are continuing to rise. We are in desperate need of additional funds to continue doing what we love. We also want to bring a fun and interactive evening to Raleigh. Everyone is invited – come mingle, have a cocktail and hang with one of the Triangles best rescues!” – Nicole Kincaid, Founder and Director

WHAT IS LOVE IS ART?
This will be an energetic and amazing event full of entertainment, including music, an art auction, raffles, beer and wine. Mix and mingle with one of the triangle’s hardest working rescue teams, as well as art lovers, dog lovers and just good people!

We promise that not every piece of art is dog related! We are gathering art from artists all over the United States, that is eclectic with all different styles, sizes and mediums. You will be sure to find something to love!

WHY IS LOVE IS ART?
One of PIPs mottos is “Love is Love.” The rescue takes in dogs that some may consider different because they walk differently, communicate differently and some need a bit more love and energy but regardless, we love them endlessly. Once we get them ready for their forever home, we look for that perfect family to love them just the way they are….because “Love is Love!”

We find the art world is very similar to the way PIPs thinks – artists pour their hearts into a unique piece of art and then search for that one person that finds their art to be perfect, just like PIPs searches for the perfect family for each of our unique adoptable dogs!

Perfectly Imperfect Pups and the amazing art world will raise awareness and money for the pups of PIPs.

WHY IS PIPS RAISING MONEY AND AWARENESS?
The special pups of PIPs, whom we call PIP-Abled, need extra everything. An average surgery cost is around $2,500 but can cost upwards of $4,000 depending on the severity of the situation. However, our adoption fee for an adult dog is $325.

We do not want to increase our adoption fee to offset the increasing costs of medical care. Events like “Love is Art” is so important in helping us continue our rescues Mission of creating a better world for at-risk dogs, with a focus on those with special needs, by building a community of like-minded people through advocacy, education, fostering and adoption.
