Bring your lunch to the City of Raleigh Museum and enjoy a free presentation on Charles N. Hunter (1852–1931), nicknamed the “Booker T. Washington of North Carolina.” Hunter was a highly accomplished man in his time despite the Jim Crow laws that disenfranchised African Americans across the South.
