There’s something for everyone as a trio of performances come to the Cary Arts Center for an entertainment-filled weekend. On Friday, November 3 Cary’s Marvelous Music Series continues with the Donald Sinta Quartet at 7:30 p.m. At 10 a.m. Saturday, November 4 Cary’s Marvelous Music Family Series continues with The Story Ship presents Diggery Diggers’ Dino Show and at 7:30 p.m. the Town of Cary & Clayton Piano Festival present From Russia with Love, all at the Cary Arts Center.
This marks the eighteenth year of the Marvelous Music Mainstage Series. This is the first time the Town has had the Donald Sinta Quartet perform at the Cary Arts Center. Since forming in November of 2010, the Donald Sinta Quartet has quickly achieved international renown for its recitals and concerto performances. For more, visit www.donaldsintaquartet.com.
This marks the seventh year of the Marvelous Music Family Series. This is the first time the Town has ever presented The Story Ship at the Cary Arts Center. Intriguing magic and rocking music keep the beat while audience members interact with animated dinosaurs, solve puzzles, and dance. For the second year, the Town of Cary is partnering with the Clayton Piano Festival, this year presenting From Russia with Love. Emmy Award winning radio producer, author and teacher, David Dubal hosts this fascinating look at works from Russian romanticism, performed by young international virtuoso pianist, Nikita Galaktionov. Individual tickets for the Mainstage Series are $27 for adults and $25 for seniors (age 55 and older). Family and friends four-packs are also available for individual concerts at $92. Tickets for the Family Series are $8. Tickets for From Russia with Love are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and $12 for Marvelous Music season ticket holders.
