Join us for the Inaugural Peer Support Awards October 5, 2019
NC HOPE will host the Peer Support Awards for Excellence in Mental Health and Substance Use Treatment
5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the McKimmon Center, 1101 Gorman St, Raleigh, NC 27606

NC HOPE is bringing together Mental Health professionals, Elected Officials, Advocates for Mental Health, and others to celebrate Peer Support Specialists and the work that they do. This event will provide support, recognition and empowerment to those who are on the front lines of the mission to support persons living with mental health and substance use disorders.

Peer Support Specialist (PSS) are individuals who have overcome mental health and substance use challenges in the past. PSS use their recovery journey to inspire and provide hope to those who are currently facing similar challenges. PSS are often overlooked and undervalued as members of the treatment community. NC HOPE wants to recognize and celebrate these unsung heroes for their role in supporting the most vulnerable among us.
