Apex’s most beloved festival, PeakFest, is back!

Enthusiasts & newcomers make plans to gather in Downtown Apex to celebrate as this festival turns 40. Growing its roots from a church parking lot to the premier family event of the year, this annual event delights both the young and young at heart. The pandemic reminded each of us how much community feeds our spirit and soul. Our reliant communities take centerstage this year, as the Town of Apex & the festival commission partner with The American Legion Post 124 kicking off the festival with a special tribute followed with a performance by the US Army 82nd airborne band & chorus to commemorate the 20-year anniversary of September 11.

If you don’t know why Apex IS the Peak of Good Living, join the Town of Apex on September 11 from 9am- 5pm, as they roll out the welcome mat for this one-of-a-kind event. Plan to stay all day. Greet old friends & even make new ones. Dance, sing, laugh and shop for something totally unique from one of over 150 artisans and crafters. This year’s title sponsor is Peak City Family Dental, a perfect fit for a festival, because it’s located in the heart of Downtown Apex, focuses their energy, resources on family & community events and programs.
