Pura Vida Studio is proud to present, “Connection”, an aerial dance production. This professional aerial show is unlike any other that has ever been hosted at the Cary Arts Center! This aerial dance show will include aerialists, dancers, and acrobats of all ages. Performances will range from: silks, sling, lyra, trapeze, group aerial acts, a singing aerial act, and a flying harness act! This show tells the story of how all the aerialists and acrobats have come together to move and support one another through the last 4 years as a small business. This Pura Vida production tells their stories on how aerial has made a difference in their lives and what connection means to them as artists in a niche community. All of the performers in this production are teachers, students from Pura Vida Studio. This production’s mission is to spread more awareness about aerial arts, how it’s made an impact on this community, and how they hope to continue to build more of a connection within the local arts community.
