For the last six years, hundreds of Triangle residents have come together on one special night to support Polka Dot Mama and the mission of early detection and prevention of melanoma. 

This year, the nonprofit is bringing the magic of the gala into your homes with a virtual event. We promise it will be like no other event you’ve ever attended, filled with surprises delivered both to the big screen – and to your doorstep. Guests will also enjoy early access to our silent auction and will have opportunities to bid on live items during the event. 

Net proceeds from the evening fund free skin cancer screenings, education and awareness programs and major research efforts in the melanoma medical community. The evening’s live agenda will feature prominent members of our community who are dedicated to improving health and ridding the world of melanoma – the deadliest form of skin cancer. 

Participating restaurants include Sassool, Under the Oak Restaurant and Catering in Smithfield, Alley 26 in Durham, and Curate in Asheville.
