Join us for The Fifth Annual Ellie Helton Memorial 5K, Fun Run and Silent Auction, October 12. Ellie Helton passed away at the age of 14 from a ruptured brain aneurysm. Ellie loved God, her family and friends, superheroes, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and pizza. She was a unique spirit who loved life was accepting of others and persevered in everything she tried. This fundraiser supports The Brain Aneurysm Foundation’s Ellie Helton Chair of Research and helps raise awareness about brain aneurysms. This is a fun, family-oriented event that includes the two races, a Kids Zone featuring face painting, balloon animals and a photo booth, and performances from local youth groups. Join us a WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, or from wherever you are via our Virtual Run, to celebrate Ellie and raise money for a great cause!
