The Dancer’s Workout Open House

Are you a dancer who wants to start dancing again? If so, you are invited to The Dancer’s Workout (TDW) OPEN HOUSE/CLASS SHOWCASE on Saturday, June 5, from 1-4 p.m.! Receive TWO FREE WEEKS of TDW classes for simply watching our one-hour class showcase (must arrive no later than 1:30 pm).

If you can’t make the showcase, you will receive ONE FREE WEEK of classes for arriving any time between 2:45 and 4:00 pm to meet-and-greet our dancers. We’ll also hold a raffle for a free unlimited month of classes – don’t miss it!Featured by both Dance Magazine and Good Housekeeping as one of the best available online dance classes, The Dancer’s Workout® classes were designed to help adult former dancers, current dancers, and dance instructors achieve our fitness goals through dance. Whether online or in-person, each one-hour class includes warm-up, stretching, a cardio dance segment, and toning exercises, which together provide a highly effective, one-hour, total body workout. Ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance choreography are used in each class. We use our dance training, along with toning exercises, to get and stay in tip-top dancer’s shape! Prior training in ballet, no matter how long ago, is required for these classes. Regardless of how long it has been since you took ballet, The Dancer’s Workout is a fantastic way to begin dancing again and to start getting your body back in tip-top dancer’s shape. Our adult students come in all shapes and sizes, levels of fitness, and dance technique levels. The unique, original ballet, jazz, contemporary dance, and toning choreography is constructed in a manner which enables every dancer to enjoy their own unique strengths and work on their own unique weaknesses. We welcome adult dancers all across the spectrum, from those who haven’t stepped foot into the studio in over a decade to those who dance on a regular basis. Everyone has something they need to improve – this is your playground and platform for improvement and growth, and we welcome you to our sanctuary!

Curious to meet the other adult dancers and to watch a class? Come to our OPEN HOUSE/CLASS SHOWCASE on Saturday, 5 June from 1:00-4:00 pm (must be seated for our one-hour class showcase by 1:40 pm). We are in the BACK STUDIO of the Triangle Dance Studio (TDS Space), 2603 South Miami Blvd, Durham, NC, 27703. Drive across the parking lot to the building in the back and enter through the door on the left (near the food tent).

The Dancer’s Workout was designed by UNC School of the Arts classical ballet graduate, Jules Szabo, to be an emotionally and physically safe path back to dance for those who want to reignite their passion for dance and reclaim their bodies!
